For the system, meetup or hopin are fine. Zoom is also fine but limited in terms of attendees.

For the promotion of the event, I can talk to Sally, but the first communication channel is certainly Unomi website, and mailing lists.

Thanks JB !

I forgot to mention that this would be a VIRTUAL meetup. So I'm also
looking for recommendations of platforms. We could use Zoom or something
else (does Apache propose anything) ?

Also it is not clear to me how Apache can help promote the meetup ?

Hi Serge

It sounds great. You can count on me for a talk or helping in the
organization.

Hi all,

I hope you are all doing well in these trying times.

On Unomi's side a lot is happening recently, as clearly it is the time
of the CDP, as more and more people are now working remotely and using
digital services.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to present at ApacheCon so I thought that
it might be nice to have our own little community event, virtually, to make
sure everyone can participate.

I propose that we do this on Thursday, November 18th from 16h00 to 18h00
CEST. Depending on how many people would like to present, we could extend
down in the afternoon or a bit later in the evening. Depending on the time
zones we could also adjust it if we have a majority of people that feel
excluded by the proposed times.

As an agenda I propose something like this:
1. Quick round table on who's who, and how much you love Unomi and what
you are doing with it.
2. State of the Unomi presentation, with details on what has happened
recently on the project, what's coming, etc...
3. How we use Unomi at Jahia (max 2-3 slides)
4. Your great presentation here :)
5. Another great presentation here.
6. Open discussion, on any subject related to Unomi and/or CDPs. The
idea is to exchange in a free form format.

How does all of this sound ? At this point it is just suggestions but I
hope this is going in a direction that would interest most of you ?

If you would like to present, please don't hesitate to reach out,
replying to this email or if you prefer privately either replying to me
directly or reaching out on Slack.

Best regards,
   Serge...
