Hi, My apologies for having failed (again) to follow due process.
I will read the provided doc and make sure to adhere to it (and discuss committership privately as requested). The original reason for that request is that I wanted Jerome to become the assignee of the Jira ticket he will be working on, but his current permissions on Jira do not allow him to do so. I mistakenly thought the route for that was to go through a nomination and vote. But now that I see the template on the community website, I do understand the problem with my original message which was poorly written (though I'd appreciate a suggestion on the Jira topic since work should start on a ticket fairly soon).
