h1. Description :
As a maintainer of the Apache Unomi project, I want to upgrade the Apache Karaf
runtime from version 4.2.15 to 4.4.7, so that we benefit from the latest
features, performance improvements, and security patches.
h1. Acceptance Criteria :
Apache Karaf version is upgraded from 4.2.15 to 4.4.7 in the project.
All Unomi modules and dependencies are compatible with Karaf 4.4.7.
The application starts and runs properly on Karaf 4.4.7, with no regression in
functionality.
All automated tests pass successfully on the new version.
Documentation is updated to reflect the new Karaf version where relevant
(installation, configuration, etc.).
h1. Technical Notes :
Check for deprecated or removed features that may impact Unomi.
The upgrade of Karaf will require the update of CXF and many other libraries.
It will require to remove karaf cellar (try to replace by Hazelcast or any
better solution)
h1. Risks :
Potential incompatibilities with existing Unomi features or third-party
dependencies.
Changes in Karaf configuration or behavior that require additional adaptation.
