Serge Huber commented on UNOMI-556:
-----------------------------------

h2. Re-targeted to unomi-3.2.0

Moved fixVersion from {{unomi-3.1.0}} to {{unomi-3.2.0}}.

Multi-domain cookie support is new feature work (scope- or request-based domain
selection). It is not required for the 3.1.0 GA scope. Engineering gate items
for 3.1 (migration, security, tenant usage, platform upgrades, IT harness) are
merged on {{master}}.

Related tracker/cookie work is already planned on the 3.2 line (e.g.
UNOMI-733). This ticket will be picked up there.

h2. Workaround for 3.1

Single-domain cookie behaviour is unchanged. Configure
{{org.apache.unomi.profile.cookie.domain}} / {{UNOMI_PROFILE_COOKIE_DOMAIN}}
for one deployment domain, or leave unset for host-only cookies.

> Because of 3rd party cookies restriction, and to be able to use the same
> unomi on several sites, it would be great if unomi could set the cookie on
> different domains.
> Ideas :
> * be able to associate a domain for each scope (but Im not sure if Unomi has
> the scope information when it sets the cookie)
> * set the domain to be always the same as the incoming request
