h3. Summary
Unomi has been preparing a 3.1.0 release for a large set of platform changes.
That work is better framed as a major version step. The goal of this ticket is
to rename the upcoming release from 3.1.0 to 4.0.0 across the product,
documentation, migrations, and website, and to align the Jira roadmap versions
the same way.
This is a version and messaging change. Behavior stays the same as the work
already planned for that release line.
h3. How to test
Build Unomi and confirm the version is 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT. Run the tests. Check
that download and docs pages show 4.0.0 as the current line, with 3.0.1 as the
previous stable.
