Don Hinshaw commented on UNOMI-97:
----------------------------------

Serge,

Could you please clarify a couple things? SendEvent is already an action that
has a properties parameter.

The use case I am looking for, is a rule that can identify an event and trigger
an action that will add any available properties (from the session) to that
incoming event. If we used sendEvent wouldn't that trigger a new event, and
like you said, cause a loop?

If I am misunderstanding your comment, could you please give me a little more
detail?

And for the new action, could you please provide a suggested action name,
arguments, and basic functionality.

Thanks,
Don

> I'm attempting to create boolean conditions that retrieve unique profile
> counts but I may be interpreting the documentation incorrectly. A contrived
> example is asking the context server to give me all profiles performing a
> page view event. The example below provides the expected result when querying
> the *event* type but return 0 when querying the *profile* type.
> Is there a method to build segments using attributes from profiles, sessions,
> and events?
> http://localhost/cxs/query/event/count (return expected correct number of
> events)
> http://localhost/cxs/query/profile/count (returns zero; should this return
> unique profiles)
