Thank you for the replies.  

I have already filed an an Individual Contributor License Agreement which  
was accepted.  

Currently looking at the Jira issues as well and trying to fit in.  

Question: is the link https://github.com/usergrid/usergrid mentioned above  
the correct one or https://github.com/apigee/  

In the meantime if any committers need any help and willing to mentor I  
will be glad to assist.  
Hoping to ramp up soon to get a better grasp.
