Malaka,

I ran the call as well and got this error in response:

{"error":"illegal_argument","timestamp":1392087764141,"duration":0,"exception":"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException","error_description":"[Assertion
 failed] - this argument is required; it must not be null”}r

I think this is good enough and will close the ticket.  This must have been
improved since the error was originally reported.  Thank you for looking into
it!

Rod

-----------------------------------------

Hi Rod,

I tried the following:
curl -X POST -d '{}' https://api.usergrid.com/test-organization/test-app/roles
{"error":"web_application","timestamp":1391712314431,"duration":0,"exception":"javax.ws.rs.WebApplicationException"}

Could you please let me know what step I am missing to reproduce the error.
This looks like a good first bug to attempt :)

Regards,
Malaka
