Here are my notes from the meeting today. Please speak up if I got anything wrong or left out anything important.
- Dave Usergrid global scrum minutes --- Rod opened the meeting and welcomed Malaka to his first global scrum. Attendees: Ryan Bridges Shawn Feldman Scott Ganyo Pooja Jain Dave Johnson Malaka Mahanama Todd Nine Harish Rajagopal George Reyes Rod Simpson Round-table --- Rod: has been working on getting release ready, and re-skinning the Portal to remove the Apigee theme. Found and removed a non-ASL compatible license. Todd: fixed scheduler, faster now. Working on setting up Gatling for stress testing Usergrid. Dave: working on getting two-dot-o test cluster up and running, and fixing test failures in the REST layer. George: wrote some docs for usergrid-tools, working on some Apigee specific stuff Harish: working on multithreaded support for Usergrid Data Exchange (import/export feature). Pooja: working on presentation about Usergrid Data Exchange for presentation at Apigee. Ryan: mostly working on Apigee-specific Usergrid bundling for on-premise customers. Scott: working on some packaging for Usergrid so you can install the launcher via NPM. Shawn: adding visibility to Usergrid internals by adding support for reporting to Graphite and other monitoring tools. Also working on some Apigee specific features. Other topics --- Rod: can we expose a re-indexing feature via the REST API, perhaps even make it possible via the Portal? Todd: perhaps this could be done via a scheduled job so that the work can be distributed across the system. You could kick it off via the Portal, but I'm not sure we want to expose this via the REST API or the portal, it could be abused.
