Usergriders, I have heard from a lot of users that they would like a place where we can all chat in real time (like IRC), but where the chat is always archived and searchable. Many Usergriders are also Apigee employees and we use hipchat every day. So, I have created a public room that we can all use. The URL is:
http://www.hipchat.com/goLqupL1B Also, we are setting up a cron job to echo the daily history out to the dev list. Some caveats: - This is not an official Apache thing!! It is only a tool that we at Apigee are offering to make it easier to get in touch with some of the committers on the project. - This isn’t meant to be a replacement for IRC!! Everyone can still hang out in the #usergrid room if they want. Finally, this is just a test. Let’s give it a go and see how it works. If nobody likes it, we can bail on the idea.
