Precisely what it says on the tin. On-the-wire security (even in a backnet
between private services) is a common requirement in various industry sectors
such as telco, health and finance.
Related roughly to USERGRID-243 but nowhere near as trivial given the intent to
move to CQL/native protocol at some point.
This would have to take into account the config changes required in
cassandra.yaml as well as in the client connection options.
