Dear VCL Developers,
I would like to ask you a help to get VCL 2.3 up and running.
After capturing a few sample images (CentOS 6.2, CentOS 5.8 and Ubuntu
11.04) successfully and setting up privileges to be needed, I tried to
make a reservation for the image but I'm getting the following
messages for every images:
The time you have requested to use the environment is not available.
You may select from the green blocks of time to select an available
time slot to make a reservation.
Our VCL environment is as follows:
1. I have installed VCL 2.3 from scratch. (a fresh installation)
2. VCL Web server, VCL management mode and MySQL are running on
separated servers, and the clock is synchronized with NTP.
3. The image and computer groups are mapped as follows:
Image Group: allVMimages
CentOS 6.2 baseimage
CentOS 5.8 baseimage
Ubuntu Ja 11.04 baseimage
Computer Group: All VM Computers
vmb01 -> vmwk22 (VMHost)
vmb02 -> vmwk22 (VMHost)
vmb03 -> vmwk22 (VMHost)
vmb04 -> vmwk22 (VMHost)
vmb05 -> vmwk22 (VMHost)
vmb06 -> vmwk31 (VMHost)
vmb07 -> vmwk31 (VMHost)
vmb08 -> vmwk31 (VMHost)
vmb09 -> vmwk31 (VMHost)
Mapping: allVMimages -> All VM Computers
4. The user "admin" has the privilege for imageCheckOut and "All VM
Computers" and "allVMimages" are "available".
As far as I investigated, I cannot see any wrong settings but I
probably miss something...
I would really appreciate if someone could give me suggestions.
Best regards,
Shoji in Japan
