Hi, Folks, I am curious to know whether any of you has experience writing custom VCL themes that are more friendly for screen readers? At present I'm leaving aside the issue of having a screen reader work inside a remote (RDP) session (there are actually ways to get this to work, but that is a slightly different issue).
For example, the reservation drop-down list really tripped up a blind user trying to initiate a request (using JAWS, which is one of the more common screen readers for Windows). It appears to have something to do with the fact that the HTML indicates a <select> menu, but it also functions somewhat like an input field -- using the Dojo tools. In any case, it was not really feasible for the browser to navigate through the list of environments. Any thoughts?
