Looking forward to seeing this approach become more widely adopted.
This approach is like a rube goldberg experiment. I wonder if the
open-ness of open source has failed here, since no one has actually cared
(my self included) to do things *best*. So, things got done by someone who
wanted to learn something - they have grown bored now - what they left is
a complicated mess that does not need to be. But oh well....

* Tried and true format, used in tons of projects. "Standing on
others' shoulders".
* Wide range of tool support up to WYSIWYG editors.
* Much more options and formatting than XDoc.
* Non-technical contributors that are willing to work on docs can do
so without having do dig through Doxia / Anakia sources to find out
how to format a section.
* Printable formats. If you don't believe this an advantage, look at
the amount of printouts the guy next to you has on his table.
Folks, what is this? This code has been in Subversion for ages. I've
posted a number of snapshots to this list and got close to no
reactions. Why didn't you speak up in sometime the last six months?
I would have been more than happy to discuss all of this *before*
voting.
Best regards
Henning
