*Project Summary:*
Apache VXQuery focuses on performing queries on large amount of XML and JSON data. Previously, VXQuery was integrated with Lucene Index, as an opportunity to speed up its performance. However, on this project "Improving Lucene Indexing on Apache VXQuery " a few changes are implemented in order for Lucene index to be optimized for VXQuery. These changes are described in the following list of issues:
