Hey all, As you all know, the last year we were not so active as we would have loved to be. But after the storm the calm comes and this year could be our year. So, today, Bertty, Kaustubh, and I (together with two new blood-people: Ricardo and Adeel) had a brief chat on a possible plan to make it happen (going to TLP). Here below are the points we discussed and that we believe we must make happen to achieve our goal. Please feel free to add any point you believe we must work on to become TLP.
(1) Two new core features (with a third optional) (a) Integrate & Enrich our SQL interface (b) Integrate & Enrich our ML interface (c) Enable Wayang with debugging capabilities (optional) (2) One platform feature (a) Integrate and extend our platform monitoring mechanism (3) One plugging component (a) An Earth Observation (EO) component (3) The Wayang GUI (a) Integrate & improve our GUI (4) Documentation and Website (a) Improve and increase our documentation (b) Rethink our website so that new comers can easily get what Wayang actually is (5) Social media communication: advertise Wayang (LinkedIn, Facebook, blog posts, twitter, ….), especially with blog posts :p Working in the above points not only will help us to ease the entry point (for new comers) to get Wayang running, but also to strength our system capabilities. All this will naturally lead us to a couple of releases. As I strongly believe we all must help with point (5), I volunteer myself to point (4) :) What do you think? Which point do you jump in?
