The way I see it, this is what we hope to accomplish by redesigning the
home page:

1) Make it user friendly
        - Reduce the amount of links on the page, to allow the user to
easily identify with the website, and interact effectively.
        - Add key focus areas that relate directly with what we want
        them to focus on.
        - Lay out the site in a clear efficient way, with plenty of
        contrast.
        - Do not waste space.

2) Make it intuitive (context-sensitive links and CSS)
        - Only have links that relate to the page at hand.
        - Create a powerful CSS backend, which uses divs to create
        context-sensitive areas.

3) Make the site "addonable"
        - Allow other projects to easily add their own CSS and content,
        outside of the general usage.

I have probably missed a few things that we take for granted. Please
forgive me if this is the case.

Kind Regards,
