It's an improvement in most respects and a step back in some. It's a step
back in that it takes focus away from download and native-lang. Those are
high priorities.
I suggest the following changes:
* Documentation is not doesn't fit in "About OOo". It's a resource.
* Replace "Community Resources" by "Resources" so it fits in one line.
* Replace "OpenOffice in the Press" by "OOo in the Press" (one line).
* Replace "Developer Workbench" by "For Developers" (one line).
* Replace "Report Bug" by "Report a Bug".
* Don't call it "OpenOffice", that's not its name, it's OpenOffice.org
* Replace "How does OpenOffice compare" by "Product comprison".
* The graphic is dominating the page WAAAYY too much. Remmer our
priorities. Download and community resources are top priorities.
* Replace "Download" by "Free Download" and make it bold. It has to
become more dominant.
* The Native-lang seciton is almost invisible. It should be made more
prominent. The best way to do that is:
- Remove the top graphic and replace it by other smaller ones.
- Use grahics that complement the message (e.g. the people graphic
complements the community idea). See my mockup.
- Make the NL section two lines.
- Black on grey is not very visible.
