Of course; I never said we should stop work on the favorite. Only that in fairness I felt we had to consider the deadline and process. I'll post that process to the web; email lists are terrible places for stuff like that. > >And just what types of alternatives would you like to see? Also, no obstacle. There was a deadline agreed upon, which is 28 January for proposals.... but that's it. > >> I really think we need to get on a 6 month release cycle. Actually, the site ought to be updated and changed far more often than every 6 months. I have always wanted and expressed the desire for more frequent changes to such things as the central image. The problem is coordinating and implementing the images. For that, Kay and I and others set up a system. The idea is to change graphic often. > >> A good example is the spanish site. I love the Spanish page images, and just finished a good conversation with Alexandro on it. I'd love to use their image--and that of many of the other OOo sites. > >-Lars Lars Nooden ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) > The Internet is for Everyone: > http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3271.txt?number=3271 cheers Louis --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
