Of course; I never said we should stop work on the favorite.  Only that
in fairness I felt we had to consider the deadline and process. I'll
post that process to the web; email lists are terrible places for stuff
like that.

(hates to think he might be ever impolite)  I'm not sure I understand
the questions.  There is no problem with updating the page.  Also, no
obstacle.  There was a deadline agreed upon, which is 28 January for
proposals.... but that's it.

Actually, the site ought to be updated and changed far more often than
every 6 months. I have always wanted and expressed the desire for more
frequent changes to such things as the central image.  The problem is
coordinating and implementing the images.  For that, Kay and I and
others set up a system.

The idea is to change graphic often.

Agreed. I love the Spanish page images, and just finished a good
conversation with Alexandro on it.  I'd love to use their image--and
that of many of the other OOo sites.
