You are *always* "evaluating optons". I'm sorry, but endless delay is not
the same thing as work. And a complete redesign is not constructive, and
throwing everything we've done out the window is not constructive, and
that's not the same thing as "doing something" unless you mean "doing
something really bad".

Sure, they are nicer, in that they are more focused. I'd like to see
some other alternatives, however.
It feels like you'd rather not get anything done. How long will you be
throwing a design out the window and starting from scratch? Are we going
to wait another 18 months before you decide to change something?

Daniel is angry, sure. but his point is worth anger. If this 'community' is ever to be worth anything, it needs to attract and keep committed volunteers. Louis is behaving as if he were the boss in an organisation where we are forced to work. Well, it's not that sort of organisation. We are volunteers. If we don't see the results of our efforts, we won't volunteer. without our labour, the site won't improve. It's that simple. I have watched this pattern of obstruction for nearly four years now, and long since gave up trying to make any difference on the web site myself simply becasue I felt that whatever I came up with, Louis would find some reason not to do it. This may be unfair. I hope it is. But it's the impression anyone watching this project would get and I think it's worth taking steps to break that mould.
