Not my artwork. I didn't design the page you pointed to. On the contrary, 
I have been very critical of it. I think that the page focuses on looking 
gorgeous without putting proper emphasis on usability. What I like about 
your modification is that it is a significant usability improvement.

Those are sensible points. There is a lot more to usability than that
