Nice to hear that you people take usability that seriously.

What I made was a design proposal that you can use as a visual template
if you like. Links, texts, navigation etc are basically nothing, they're
just placeholders in this design (as you may notice from the Lipsum down
there.)

Too bad I've got so little time on my hands I can't be an active
participant in this project. I would have put the up-to-date content and
links there but that would've required a lot of reading of previous
mailing list posts. Watching this project alone takes so much time I get
left behind.

But the design is there, I will maybe be updating and fixing it in the
future, so I hope it gives you some inspiration.

So, I'm not trying to take over this project with my design or anything,
although OpenOffice.org website would make a nice CV entry for me. ;)

Once again, the design we're discussing is here:

I will keep it up our website's server as long as possible (if you
need).

Note that there are bugs in the code. The floats can get messed up if
the window is being resized, font size adjusted and so on. But what is a
fresh addition to your [plural] designs is the "Skip to contents" link
that is hidden from visual browsers, if you haven't implemented that
function yet on your most recent designs.

Many thanks.
