My newest proposal for the website project. http://www.safelyinrussia.com/tmp/miikka/ooowebsite/1.1/
I made it based on the current "sc40" proposal (https://www.sc40.sfo.collab.net/) except I didn't put the "blub the fish" article there. There should be some space at the bottom, though. There are still problems. I haven't yet figured out how I should combine em's and percentages in element widths without affecting the semantic XHTML structure. The layout is too fixed. The positive thing is that elements get lined up on top of each others if the window is being resized. A function that's missing in https://www.sc40.sfo.collab.net/ Couple of small annoyances: - On Firefox, the links below the download button have a slight left indent. I have no idea why. - On IE6 the download button background flickers when mouse hovers. Use it, take inspiration or whatever. The coding should also be pretty valid. Here is the same version without CSS: http://www.safelyinrussia.com/tmp/miikka/ooowebsite/1.1/no-css/ Regards, Miikka Leskinen (login name: miles_fin) ps. This design is nowhere near perfect. There are problems in the code but also in the very appearance and page contents. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
