If we go back to the beginning of the discussion, the question asked is
not "is this design perfect?". It is "Is this better than what we have?".
I think the latest version of Maarten's is a clear improvement on the

But yes, we shouldn't aim for perfection. We should pick the best design that can
be made available promptly.
Though I do think that Emily's design /probably/ lies in that category, given
that the design really is done. So what's left is dealing with SC.
As I say, if she wants cvs access, and a tryout folder, she can have mine -- though I can't, for some reason get wincvs to work at all. I might be reduced to playing sillybuggers in Linux. Whatever, I can do it.
Who else was it who needed access to the server?
But I suspect that "What's left is dealing with SC" may turn out be a sentence like "So all I have to do now is write the book". And if that's the case, let's be quick.
