Hi,

Website problems
Let me cc' the website project; we can continue the discussion there...

"The connection was refused when attempting to contact
download.services.openoffice.org"

is reported when clicking on the link for RC2 and other things too, e.g.
"the stable version 1.1.5".

I was looking for the md5sum, so I used the download tab at the top.

On the Download Central webpage, I followed link to Source (2.0 RC).

The hostname download.services.openoffice.org is correct.
This is a caching accelerator (squid) to take away a bit of the load from the main machine. It's just that the IP address changed recently.
An issue has been filed to track the problem. Thanks, Christian.

Page title for next page is: OpenOffice.org 2.0 RC1 Source - I don't know if
RC1 should be RC2, but I was after the md5sum.

The RC2 source tarball (and page update) is still in preparation.

Followed link for md5sums, which takes me to the "Md5sums OpenOffice.org 2.0
RC2" webpage.

md5sum problem
--------------

Copy and pasted md5sum "a090fdea62e05aaab09e1cd96126de17
OOo_2.0.0rc2_051005_Win32Intel_install.exe" into notepad and saved.

Ran md5sum: didn't like single space in middle (invalid format)

The corrected format will be online in some hours.

Inserted extra space in middle: all fine for me but others might not know
what is wrong.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the hints.
Stefan
