But that doesn't fit the end-user oriented front-page. Developer and geeky terms don't fit there. And as you want a direct link to it from the frontpage, I take the opposition.. Having this linked from a Developers' gateway is fine, but not from the "Hey, you want to download OOo? Get Support? Learn what it is?" orientation of the frontpage. (And this was an open discussion, everybody was invited numerous times to take part of the webpage redesign. That's the style that everybody who did took part agreed upon) > >As in your words: You want to "sell" something. I understand. But without any samples to show, making people "want it" is very, very hard. "Why should I use UNO if I have <lots of alternatives>?" And I still don't really see where a link to udk.ooo would fit on the frontpage. What label would you use? It DOES have value on it´s own. Beta had technical merits compared to VHS, but VHS "won" nevertheless... (Yes, bad example, but like every comparison it has to be a lousy one) > [...] ciao Christian -- NP: 4Lyn - Bonus (hidden track) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
