Hi all, As some of you may know an Advisory Board has been invited to meet in Boston the 1st of November [1]. Louis as proposed my name to represent the community at large and Jim Parkinson has invited me, see the mail on the CC archives [2]. And I have accepted.
One of the point of this meeting is to discuss the infrastructure our project is using. This infrastructure is discussed on the wiki [3] and a face 2 face meeting will take place in Hamburg short before the AB meeting the 29/30 of October. This will be the ESC and some guests [4]. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the Hamburg meeting. For having speak with Andre and some others, we think that those discussions on the OOo infrastructure should take also our needs into account. Some features are asked since several years (like mail handling for one of them) and still are not a priority. Would it be possible that we have an IRC session to discuss about your needs, your ideas and what you would like to see as a priority for the next technical infrastructure of our project ? And of course any other topic is welcome :) My availabilities for this IRC session are : 16 October : after 18 h UTC 18/19/20/21 October : from 6 h UTC to 19 h UTC or earlier/later if needed. We could have to 2 sessions if needed because of time zone. Please let me know what suits best for you.
