I propose "use.openoffice.org" instead of "portal.openoffice.org"

Sorry, too late. We already got portal.openoffice.org
Good morning Louis,
who decided?
Stefan and I, mostly I.
And for what reasons?
Ease of name, and possible expansion of services. I had thought of
user but that's taken--see Clayton's post--and download is limited.
The portal at some point should offer things of user interest and
also developer. It is to be a portal, in the end.
What do you want to express with this URL?
"portal.openoffice.org"=http://portal.openoffice.org/
In other words, what do you think anyone expects, if she sees this
URL in Google?
Instead of download.openoffice.org , or in addition to it,
portal.openoffice.org/
cheers
Matthias
best
