-sorry for bothering again, I forgot a few designs-

Hi Arties :)

(I cc'ed [EMAIL PROTECTED] for their information, please vote on the art
mailinglist only, this is only about visual identity, which I believe is
an [EMAIL PROTECTED] issue, and not so much a [EMAIL PROTECTED] issue)

Louis assigned a deadline. Saturday, 15th of December.

That is, where I live, still (in less than 2 hours) tomorrow.

What we have is quite a number of proposals, but none of them are final.
Besides judging pages on their interaction, we can already judge on
aesthetics. Which design so far do you like best visually, or have the
most potential to develop in a professional look that matches OOo and
your personal preference (regarding the latter; otherwise we wouldn't
have to vote ;) ). Lets refrain from debating usability for now, but
focus on identity/visual appearance. Which design do you think does
represent OOo best?

All designs are listed at (please add if you find yours missing):
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Website/Proposals

(at that page you can click either at the title, or the thumb to go to a
larger version)

Please vote on the typical newsgroup/mailing-list style, by replying and
voting +1 for the design, or designs, you like best from an visual point
of view (please do not pay attention to problems with action statements
or whatsoever); they are listed here:

[2] first4quality.co.uk OpenOffice
[3] Overkill1
[4] Overkill2
[5] Molcan Mockup2
[6] Molcan Mockup3

[9] Minimalist OOo / murb_proposal1
[10] Splash page

[12] Overkill3
[13] RandyMinimal
[14] YorkicksDoubleMod
[15] Minimalist Set 1
[16] Minimalist Set 2 - Highlighter OOo
[17] ...

I believe we should try to work with that design for the next round of
mockups. I would therefore suggest that the winner of this voting round,
or maybe winners (maybe a 2nd best may still have the necessary
potential) attach their raw material (layered PSD, inkscape files,
illustrator/pdf, odp, whatever...) in a .zip to
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=84067
so that everyone can play around with it when further developing their
ideas.

Happy voting!

g.,

Maarten
