Hi Ivan, Maarten and anyone still keeping up with the topic,
If it's not too late, I've attached another proposal (just below overkill03)
which is my first modification of the Minimalist design. Due to time
constraints it might be my only =(.
Just quickly:
- shorter header/banner section. Made entirely flat at bottom (just thought it
looked nice that way)
- Statements contained in 5 'expandable boxes'. All in collapsed state, except
Downloads.
- slimline, lighter footer with continuation of 'tab curve'
- Gull silhouette, really does something for the page!
One thing I was gunna request, (that I even left out of my modification
=S ), was to suggest that maybe the 'about' tab could be moved next to
the 'home' tab, which is where more people expect it to be (?). And I
know search/language/login are triggered by clicking the top right
links, but could the search field be visible by default? (because it's
the search input-box that is most identifiable to noobs, and sometimes they
panic and leave if it's not there).
Hope it's more of a help than a hindrance fellas.
