Hi Shaun, hi David
your are correct the named en-GB page for downloads is useless. Best
version is 2.0.2 for Win and Linux.
A quick view on http://l10n.openoffice.org/languages.html says David
Barlett is responsible for en-GB.
David, as far as I can see in QATrack
(http://qatrack.services.openoffice.org/view.php) we have a 2.3.1 OOo
Version, but it's untested. When can we expect an update for en-GB?
Or if not, does it make sense to redirect the customers to the en-US
version? In my eyes it makes more sense to have an actual release
instead of an outdated version (just in case of en-US vs. en-GB). -
Please let me know if you agree with it, so I can change download-link, thx.
Cheers,
Frank

I've just taken a look at the download page using en-GB Safari on Mac OS
X, and it suggests that I go to
http://l10n.openoffice.org/download/en-GB.html which is a completely
useless page.
It uses the text "OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 for Mac x86, British English".

One *small* (??) change I would recommend to the new download page
would be to make the version, os string a bit larger and emphasized.
i.e. this part
OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 for Linux, (US English version)
or, alternatively, maybe modify the larger "Download OpenOffice" to
jsut append the version, OS string to the end of it? So instead of the
user would see
"Download OpenOffice.org, version 2.3.1 for Linux, (US English version)"
so the user doesn't have to shift focus *up* for the download?
I haven't looked into how complicated this might be, but just a thought.
