Hi,
I really didn't follow all the expert-level threads here in detail, so
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before - if so, please
accept my
apologies.
So, here it goes:
While I find the "search/langauge/login" box at the upper right of the
new site (text.openoffice.org) *really* cool, I wonder to which extent
this is accessible. That is - how do I reach this with the keyboard?
With the TAB key, I can only access the tab headers, but I cannot
activate the single tabs, so I cannot access their content. Neither
Enter nor Space (which would be the natural choices IMO) do work.
While one might be tempted to say that you can always use the mouse to
reach this - please consider that *man years* of work have been
spent to
actually make OpenOffice.org itself accessible. IMO, we should strive
for the same for our web site.
Ciao
Frank
These are good points. Can you (or someone on UX) suggest a fix?
Many of the site developers are entering intensely busy weeks right
now, in their day jobs....
thanks
