Hi one more question
why website use %, in big display it doesn't look so good, text is so
long and it is hard to read.
for example the news will look better:
content { width: 900px; padding: 0 0 160px 0; clear: both; display:
block; font-size: 1em; } maybe center it as well.
I know there is issue on other sites after that and in header as well
but i will prefer px to defined the sizes than percent in content. On Thu, May 1, 2008 at 1:12 AM, Ivan M <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Maarten, > > I'm against using the header of the current site on the new why page > for the following reasons: > - its height is too large, especially considering the small amount of > space given to the text > - the formats/layout of the current header is not compatible with > why.openoffice.org's header, especially its navigation > - for design reasons - the header would not match the rest of the > design of why.openoffice.org > > The new stylesheet has broken the design somewhat, but it should be > fairly straightforward to fix.
