Alexandro and Ivan have been working on a new OOoWiki skin, and there is now
a usable version available to be tested.
To test the new skin:
- Log into the OOoWiki as usual
- Click on my preferences
- Click Skin
- Select OOoSkin
- Click Save
This skin has been tested in Linux on:
- Firefox 3.0b
- Opera 9.27
- Konqueror 3.5.9
- Seamonkey 1.1.9
Please test and give your feedback/comments!
I just tested this in IE6 (using a vanilla install of Windows XP SP2),
and this new skin is really badly broken in this browser.
- the header image is shifted a long way to the right
- the navigation tabs are missing
- the article text disappears under the header
- the fonts are badly rendered
- there are missing character sets (Japanese and Chinese)
- source code falls out of the bounding boxes
- images float under headers (eg the Documentation/HowTos page)
- etc etc
It is worth noting that none of these problems show up in any other
browser tested... all other browsers tested so far render the new skin
correctly.
Note: IE7 and IE8 have not yet been tested. Can someone please do a
test and see what works and what does not in these 2 browsers.
