I agree - it would be a much better use of the space on the web page.
Maybe some javascript that could pull headlines from a text file and
display it on the page? (I wouldn't like to have to hack a pile of
javascript every time the news changed...)
It's not something that I have experience with, so it would not be
effective for me to dive into that, nor any guaranty for success ;-)
Is there anyone who thinks he/she can make that work?
