A new Wiki extension has been enabled on the OpenOffice.org Wiki. You
might notice this extension as a new block on the left of the
OpenOffice.org Wiki titled "My Collection".
This extension allows you to build a collection of Wiki articles into
a book, and generate a downloadable PDF of that collection.

This sounds like a valuable addition. Are there any examples of what the
resulting pdf looks like?
I do have a test document that was created with the extension. It is
based on a old version of the OOo Administration Guide. The quality of
the PDF is remarkably good - especially considering the source is in
fairly unstructured MediaWiki markup. It is not a perfect document.. as
in it is not something you would want as a publishable printed book, but
it is more than good enough for snapshotting a book, or creating your
own custom book for offline reading.
Hopefully I'll have the extension working properly soon - see my other
messages in this thread.
