Wow, this is the closest yet to a working why page in IE 6. Great work!

apart from the curious mouseover in IE6 which you know about.

There is one problem with why_great - the javascript mouseover effects
have disappeared - "Roll your mouse over the screenshots for more details
of the main components (requires javascript)" Compare:
