Yes, I do think so. I'd be happy with red text, but your aesthetic judgment
is probably
better than mine, and I'm sure you can do something pretty. Pink background,
maybe?
I'm not a big fan of pink - I think it would unnecessarily draw too
much attention to the discussion tab. From my experience on the wiki,
the Discussion tab doesn't get used much (using the mailing list is a
better solution in many cases). Here are two options I think could
work well:
* Having the text in italics (this could apply to the my talk page as
well) ... or ...
+1 (I suggest "and")
* A grayish tab with maroon/dark red text
+1 (keeps some shade of red associated with redlinks, for consistency)
Another improvement to distinguishability might be to make the text in
the currently active tab bold. What do you think about these?

Love 'em all. We are definitely on the same wavelength, here. Any change(s) that add
obviousness (by my standards) and still look reasonable (by your standards) should be a
considerable improvement. /tj/
