Hi Sophie,
it is important to know the language of the Mac installation set the
user want's to download.
In case of Italian the setting of download.openoffice.org/languages.js is
"it": {"-": ['skip', 'Italian',
'http://it.openoffice.org/download/','y','y','n']},
The first 'y' parameter means : JRE is available for some builds
The second 'y' parameter means: Bouncer is used (otherwise the user is
redirected to the native language homepage)
The third 'n' parameter means : flag for bouncer for MAC ( only in
combination with previous flag! )
Maybe the third parameter needs to be set to 'y'

Good morning, my name is Giovanni Padovani and I am writing from Italy.
I just registered to your website as Giopad65 and tried to download
OpenOffice Aqua for my Imac.
Nevertheless, I am experiencing a problem whish shows ad a circular
sequence of link when trying to access the download page.
More in detail:
- form the homepage of the site I clic "I want to download
OpenOffice.org", then I clic on the big green arrow "download now!"
- I reach this page: http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/ and
clic on "OpenOffice.org Aqua"
- I reach this page:
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua.html and clic on
"OpenOffice Aqua for Intel"
- I reach this page:
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua.html and clic on
"OpenOffice.org Aqua release: download"
- instead of starting the download, I am brought again to the page
http://download.openoffice.org/ with the big green arrow, and the loop
goes on.
Have you any hints? I don't understand how to reach the download function.
