OK, so I guess this is the answer to my question in
http://website.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=11736
Honestly, this comes as a surprise after seven months in a row with zero
messages http://kenai.com/projects/ooo-migration/lists/discuss/archive
but it's a nice surprise, thank you! I just wonder whether there was a
way for the community to stay up-to-date about the migration plan, since
I really haven't heard anything for months before this announcement.
In the meantime some other kenai-based sites grew up and the OOo staging
site needed some preparation. As said in my earlier message a working
staging site is a good basis for further work.
In most areas the data migration scripts do already a good job
Indeed. The Italian test site for example seemed migrated very well when
I checked (I can't check details now since the migration script is
running right now). And we are eager to test the new possibilities
offered by Kenai; CollabNet posed significant obstacles to us.
For further testing, please whitelist the current Italian Project Leads
(OOo user names: ddozza, pescetti) and our Localization Lead Paolo
Pozzan (OOo user name: paolopoz).
Done.
The round that started at the weekend is finished now - albeit with
problems. More about that at discuss @ ooo-migration.kenai.com
Greetings
Stefan
