Sebb commented on WHIMSY-22:
----------------------------
I see.
So if the address contains an "@" then it is a complete e-mail address,
otherwise it is just the hostname.
I think that might work.
One of the problems I think we have is that the precise meanings of the entries
are not well-defined.
And/or some types of required info are not included, and are expected to be
derived from the existing info.
But it's not always clear what source to use.
Maybe there could be a documentation link at the start of the file which points
to the documentation?

> The generated committee-info.json file has spaces in some mail_list entries,
> for example:
> "brandmanagement": {
> "display_name": "Brand Management",
> "site": null,
> "description": null,
> "mail_list": "brand management",
> This is presumably not intentional; it also causes problems for the script
> public_committee_info.rb
