The "send email" button should somehow note in the whimsy UI that someone has
(presumably) sent an email about a project's report. This would help both
prevent two directors sending nag mails to the same project, as well as remind
people that a director (usually) has communicated back to the project on some
report-related question recently.
I'd be happy with a simple static "sent a mail" comment attributed to the
button pusher that goes into their queue.
