I just got a new mac with 10.11 installed and I’m running last month’s svn. The
repositories at Apache are not really new, but I’m getting strange error
messages.

MacBook-Pro:~] clr% cd apache/documents/received/
[MacBook-Pro:~/apache/documents/received] clr% svn up
svn: E155021: This client is too old to work with the working copy at
'/Users/clr/apache/documents' (format 31).
You need to get a newer Subversion client. For more details, see
  http://subversion.apache.org/faq.html#working-copy-format-change

[MacBook-Pro:~/apache/documents/received] clr% svn --version
svn, version 1.7.20 (r1667490)
