Sam Ruby commented on WHIMSY-87:
--------------------------------
I originally thought the volume of data would have made this a challenge to do
in a way that was acceptably performant. Based on a few tests, it looks like
that won't be an issue.
The data will never be 'live'... a cron job will run perhaps a few times a day
on the machine that processes mail, and send a list of subscribers to the
whimsy server. But I would think that knowing what you were subscribed to a
few hours ago would be good enough for these purposes.
Once that data is present on the whimsy server, it will be available to any
tool that wishes to display it; and that tool can implement its own access
control.
> Tool to list all subscriptions.
