I just opened a JIRA for this [1]. I am willing to try to do it if
I can get some advice on the best way to approach it and kind review
of my toddler-stage Ruby code. If we already have some kind of
scheduler set up, a simple approach for the initial reminder send
(which is really what I would most like to have) would be to trigger
creation of a scheduled task to send reminders when a new agenda is
posted. Alternatively, the schedule could be driven by
calendar.txt. The latter might be a little better as the agenda
itself is defiinitive both for date and roster.
