Workround 1

Instead of attempting to delete the last member, replace the entry with a 
special dummy entry.
This would only affect empty member lists.
When adding a new member, the dummy entry would need to be replaced.
Since all Whimsy LDAP access uses common library routines, it should be 
possible to remove the entry from retrievals so other code is unaffected. The 
public JSON data would be unchanged.

3rd party scripts and code might need to be adjusted if they do not use the 
JSON data.
