Sam Ruby commented on WHIMSY-247: --------------------------------- I think I know what happened there, and committed a fix: [https://github.com/apache/whimsy/commit/6915abc03dfe3d6b365277b3a1a49b80f19e63bd] Basically, when you go to a new agenda, it was resetting the data. The reason for this is that if you had pending comments and approvals that you neglected to commit, associating them with whatever report is in the same place in the next month's agenda made no sense. Despite the reset happening the moment you visited the new agenda, you wouldn't see that this had happened until you went to commit. Let me know if you continue to have this problem. > Persist changed initials for report comments > -------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-247 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-247 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: Task > Components: Website > Reporter: Joan Touzet > Priority: Minor > > Right now, when adding a comment as a board member in the tool, I can > customise my initials when leaving a comment. I like doing this - more people > know me as "wohali" than "jt," and when I personally use my initials, I use > "jst" not "jt." > The tool could simply see that the field has changed, and persist that > abbreviation for the future when initials are called for. If no customisation > has been made, use the person's initials from the current source. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005)
