Hi Everyone
First of all I'd like to thank you for the invitation.
I started working in (real) distributed systems back in '07 with Hadoop
& HBase, with a peculiar entreprise search app, and couldn't let go since.
I've since then gone the academic route (phd student) where I'm doing
research on dynamic provisioning, among other things, all large scale DS
related.
Current projects involve an alternative ft strategy for voldemort,
streaming fault-tolerance and large-scale data processing within a deadline.
I looking forward to working and learning from all of you.
