I'm more for JavaScript based on Bernie's animator or YUI!'s animation library. Both libraries are known here and can be easily supported when Mark is graduating from college instead of maintaining the Flash file. Also the Apache site is devoid of flash and afaik flash is not an open (source) standard. The javascript for this is not too complicated and easy to implement cross browser using the YUI! and Bernie's libraries. If it is implemented in flash, I won't be able to maintain it. So: -0.5 on flash +1 on javascript.
