we provide IObjectStreamFactory interface that can be used to plug in your own serialization streams, Christian do you want to give this a try and plug in the jboss streams to see if it will accelerate anything?

Accelerate Serialization Serialization is heavy used in wicket, therefore it would be good to accelerate it with JBossSerialization. It should be at least as twice as fast as default serialization.
